Clemson Engineers for Developing Communities
Cange Operating Room Project

Clemson Engineers for Developing Communities (CEDC) is a student-led internship program that serves local communities in South Carolina and abroad to solve real-world problems. There are multiple project groups that are led by students who strive to tackle a certain issue. By creating sustainable solutions to these problems, CEDC strives to improve the quality of life of the people in these communities by student led initiatives.

I worked with the Cange Operating Room Project for two semesters with the goal of creating a satellite operating room and improving the conditions of the only hospital in Cange, Haiti that is currently dealing with a lot of debilitating issues that hinder the efficiency of the healthcare services provided.
